600LBS..
concerned

the
weaker members of the gym
might!
have
problems taking off the 45LB weights..
i
accommodated his request
by
helping him
and
taking off the weights
and
placing them on the other rack
approximately 2 feet away..
and
then
i
mention to him..
that
i
thought this gym…
is
one to train warriors..
and
i
didn’t think lifting 45LBS..
WILL
be
too
much!
for
warriors…
hmm..
i’m such a smart a**
sometimes..
but..
he
didn’t say please..;)
But!
seriously..
the
military is getting soft!
compared to what
IT
IS
just a decade ago..
so
many!
guys and gals..
are
sitting still
on
the
workout machines..
punching in their Facebook statuses
instead
of
grunting and groaning!

making themselves
into
the
strong!

focused!
warriors!
required
to
have!
nerves of steel!
to
make
it

when
things really get tough…

fact..
one really ‘soft’ military pilot student..
about 6 months..
ago..
complaining
that!
i am growling too loud..
and
trying!
to
tell me
it’s against gym rules
to
growl when ya workout..
well..
since i did used to be Athletic Director there..
i
knew that as BS..
and
called him on
it..
but
told him if it stressed him out too much..
when
i
growl
that
i
will!
accommodate his request..
to
not!
get his nerves
too!
rattled!
by
the
warrior sound…
inherent
with
or
without!
a
REAL FIGHT
in
me…;)!
Hmm..
the
comforts of modern technology are great..
but
hmm..!
the
pervasive functional disabilities
IT!
creates!
across the culture…
and

even in the military now..

definitely significant..!

obvious to those of use
who
live enough decades!

a
reference
